R.I.S.E.
Mrs. Cheyenne Morgan
My name is Cheyenne Morgan, and I am a third-year Special Education teacher. I earned my degree from Texas Tech University, where I developed a strong passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping every child reach their full potential.
I am dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where all students feel valued, supported, and successful. I believe that every child can learn and thrive when provided with individualized support, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to grow.

Ms. Nora Olguin de Badillo
Ms. Olguin is one of our Rise Assistants. Her quiet manner is calming, and she has developed special relationships with the students she works with.
When she is not at school she enjoys cooking and spending time with her children.

Mrs. Julia Rodriguez
I'm Julia Rodriguez. I have been an elementary school teacher since 2005, starting in Irving ISD and then coming to FWISD in 2017. I have taught all grades Pre-k - 5th but spent most of my time teaching 4th grade. This year, I was ready for a new adventure, so I moved from general education to special education. I have loved the transition and am learning so much from my fellow Sped teachers as well as my RISE students. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family (dogs and cat included). I especially love the outdoors, but only when the weather is cool. I do not like the heat!
I love being a Luella Merrett Superbee. This is going to be a great year.
Mrs. Rachel Stewart
I’m Mrs. Stewart, and I’m passionate about creating a classroom where every student feels valued, supported, and celebrated for who they are. I earned my Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of North Texas (UNT) and am excited to begin my journey here at Luella Merrett.
I believe that every student has unique strengths, abilities, and potential. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop independence, and experience success. I love celebrating the big milestones as well as the small victories that make each student’s journey special.
